Our second grader!

It is hard for us to believe Cgirl is in second grade. My Mom (Grandma Sal) has been teaching second grade for 35 years. It all seems surreal.

Today was much easier than the past two years. She is in the same school, riding the same bus, and has some established friendships. We couldn't ask for more. She hopped on the bus today with excitement.

Two stories from this a.m.

CAW opened the door while we were waiting for the house. He yelled 'I call Cgirl Fart.' This horrified her. When we put her on the bus we let him know that on his first day of 4K next week Uncle D and I will be telling everyone that he still sucks his thumb and that he still wears a diaper at night. I think we made our point.

Cgirl's last words as she got on the bus 'Mom, thanks so much for making my big days so special.' She's the best!
