Summer weekend

Today I feel like I think you are supposed to feel after a full summer weekend.

-Tired

-Sore

-Sunburned

-Wishing it wasn't Monday

We headed to Uncle D's folks on Friday night. We drove in some nasty weather but arrived safely. We had a fun time catching up and getting to spend some good time with Cousin Jase. We came home on Saturday night. On Sunday morning we got a call from Katie that her duplex burned down. The good news was that she and her animals are safe. However they lost almost everything (including their car). Very, very scary. Luckily for us, my Mom was able to come and watch the kids until Katie can get back to work (which may be awhile).

On Sunday (after getting Katie's terrible call) we headed to the water park with my cousin Teresa and her family. It was very windy but the kids managed just fine. I forgot my camera=(

CAW's highlight of the weekend was riding in his Great Grandpa's tractor. Uncle D remembers the first time he rode in this tractor and said it is when the Oliver-Obsession began. Help us all!
