Father/Daughter dance
Friday was the Girl Scout Father/Daughter dance. C-girl was so excited for this event. We spent a lot of time picking out her dress and hiding it from Uncle D. They had a blast (even though Uncle D was sick and had put in a very long day at work) and even went out for ice cream afterward. The pin on her dress was Auntie's idea. Uncle D kept teasing C-girl that he was going to wear his Vikings tie or his bathing suit.
The highlight of the night for Uncle D was having C-girl take the microphone and say to every 'Hello, my name is C-girl and this is my Dad.'
Uncle D loves C-girl so much. They truly have a special bond that is so very fun to witness.
CAW and I spent Friday night at home (while those two danced the night away). We played cars and tractors and then he got tired and wanted to cuddle while watching tv (lucky me).
Luka and Leila came for an overnight on Saturday. I didn't have much time to play so we ran errands. The most exciting being a car wash shaped like a ship (see photos). The kids did great together.
