so much happening and no time to blog.....
December is such a busy month (for everyone!). Last week we had some excitement with C-girl getting diagnosed with strep throat for the first time ever. She was a trooper and was luckily feeling much better by her big weekend.
She was lucky enough to have Grandma Linda and Grandpa Dennis come for the festivities. On Friday she had her concert at school. Our seats were too far back to get many good photos but C-girl was in the front row and was singing her heart out. It was fun to watch.
On Friday night we all braved the cold and went out to eat. I'm so glad I caught a smile from Grandma Linda and a semi-smile from Grandpa Dennis at dinner!
On Saturday the day was filled with C-girl getting ready for her Nutcracker ballet recital. We definitely needed Aunt Kathy's camera to capture some good photos. The concert was very short (which pleased Uncle D).
Last night we had CAW's holiday performance for daycare. It was good for C-girl to be there cheering on her brother after everything he has attended for her lately. We loved seeing our good family friends and catching up.
The next five days are nuts! One day at a time. The good news is my final was submitted last night. YAY! This is really good news for my family since this last class made me really crabby!!!!
Holiday updates:
cards are out
presents are purchased
work and school gifts are wrapped
family gifts are not wrapped
cookie exchange baking is done (thanks to C-girl and Grandma Linda!)
