DVT!
Until yesterday I didn't know what DVT was.....now I know.
I have deep vein thrombosis (a large blood clot in my leg) which now helps me understand why I've been in so much pain and unable to stand on my leg. I was telling a coworker at 2:30 p.m. yesterday that my leg was swollen, rock-hard, and red. She mentioned a blood clot and by 4:00 p.m. I was in the hospital having an ultrasound.
Yesterday was our anniversary (9 years) and we spent it together in the ER until 8 p.m. Fun times. Everyone I know that has had this has been admitted to the hospital yet I was set home and need daily blood draws and medication. Yikes. Knowing this is what killed David Bloom doesn't help either. The good news is they know why I have it....my surgery.
Anyway, that's all I know right now. Please send good wishes my way that this thing doesn't dislodge earlier than it should.

"in sickness and in health" were part of the vows right? Hopefully, you'll have a more glamorous 10 year anniversary next year.
So sorry to hear about your leg but SO glad it was found - those are scary.
