Duluth...here we come!

Here is a post all about me! Last Saturday and Sunday I spent the weekend with six of my dearest friends up in Duluth, MN. We celebrated our 35th birthdays. We had done the same when we turned 30.

I can't even explain what a wonderful time we had. Spending time with some of your favorite people in the world in one of your favorite places in the world...throw in 80 degree weather, a gentle breeze off of Lake Superior, great food, and even better memories...and you have the perfect weekend. We shopped....we ate....we slept....we walked...we laughed...we cried...we hugged...we shared stories. It was awesome.

I hope everyone has a group of friends like this. I love each of them individually and as a group. When we jump in a car or sit down for dinner you are thrilled with whomever you happen to be sitting by because you want to spend time with them as much as anyone else in the group.

The husbands/Dads will be sad to know that we have decided this must be an annual event. We are also saving up for something big when we hit 40 (a cruise, a week at the spa...who knows?)

Uncle D and the kids did great. They didn't sleep in for him (7:20ish). However they had a great time and I came home to a clean house. I certainly wasn't expecting that.
