Good Bye Katie!!!!

All kinds of big things happening!
My anxiety is through the roof between CBW starting school, my insane job, me going back to school while working two jobs. Yikes. Between the stress and the storms I have not been sleeping well and I LOVE MY SLEEP!
This weekend CBW and CAW received their 'back-to-school' haircuts. We had a fun day in the cities and even tried to eat out with the children. We are not quite there yet but it won't be long.
On Sunday we had our make-up playdate. Isaac is a doll (and so smart!) He speaks in ten-word sentences. With CAW we only know what he is saying about half the time. They both love tractors and I couldn't get a shot with both of them looking my way. Isaac's mom was gracious and didn't seem upset that I had blown off our last playdate.
On Monday Uncle D won an 'excellence' award at work. I surprised him and went to see him receive his award from the Chancellor. It is quite the year for him. However he is currently doing three jobs so I'm not quite sure he got the honeymoon period he deserved=)
Last night we said 'good-bye' to Katie! We love Katie. She is the 5th member of our family. She loves our children so much and treats them so well. She still wants them both to be in her wedding next August (even CAW!). It was hard to say good-bye. CAW kept saying 'KATIE' last night. I think he understood he wouldn't see her for awhile. Uncle D is the most sad since he loves his summer off from drop-off.
Tomorrow Uncle D's folks come to help us with our end of August daycare needs. The kids can't wait to see them. I'm sure they will be busy, busy trying to keep up with CBW and CAW!

Hang in there, Jbird! As my wise mother has taken to saying, "It may not get better, but it will get different." I'm not sure how positive that is, but it does ring true. I understand your anxieties and share them and am so looking forward to the reunion weekend in September -- now just three weeks away!
