Family Weekend!

No one celebrates a family weekend more than CBW! She asks each night before bed how many days until a 'family day.' I'm not sure how to take this since we want her to love school and family days.

On Friday we collapsed after a very busy week at work with sick children.

On Saturday we headed up to my folks for the day. It was beautiful weather (we picked the right day). CAW threw an hour-long tantrum which was good for his number one fan (Grandma Sal) to witness. Uncle D had hours in the field. I took a two hour nap with CAW. It was good all around. CBW decided she didn't want to leave so Grandpa Tom decided he would ride back in the van (see photo).

On Sunday we invited our old neighbors over for dinner. CBW and Ty reconnected immediately. CAW did all he could to keep up with them (poor Josie) even though he always had to be 'it.'

On Monday we played at our new community park. Uncle D got some great photos (I'll post them later) and then we had lunch by the river. CBW spent the rest of the day enjoying her new driveway. She was so excited to be wearing summer clothes. She already has a tan...unbelievable.
