Another day at the waterpark

It has been a crazy week around our house. Katie ended up taking the whole week off, I traveled two days for work, and Uncle D had some huge conferences on campus so lucky for all of us, Grandma Sal stayed until Friday! She even brought Ginger (the beagle) which still has the kids talking. We even got out one night for dinner with Katie and Jeff (visiting from Portland). How lucky are we!!! They are always so much fun and it was great to talk for two hours without children. On Tuesday Grandma Sal and I brought C-Girl to swimming lessons. She went off the diving board (with a life jacket) and made certain Grandma watched her every single minute.

This weekend we met Katie and Ryan for dinner and then shopped Target together. It was great to finally see them. It is amazing all they had been through in seven short days. A few people (some of which had not even met Katie) gave me money, gift cards, and letters to give to her. It meant a lot and hopefully helps in some way.

On Sunday Luka and Leila came to Menomonie for a day of water park fun. Other than one very naughty little boy (who will remain nameless) ran away from his mom and ran straight into the parking lot, the day was great. It was sunny and warm and we made the most of it. There is no doubt that C-Girl (as I will now call her), loves the water.....just like her Mom!!!!!
