quick update

Busy week around here...

Wednesday we had conferences for the kids. They say that CBW is totally ready for school. CAW keeps the teachers busy and says 'ahhh', a lot-which we knew. But they also told us things that let us know how much they know our little boy (like you don't cover his feet when you lie him down, he grabs his hair when he is tired, etc.) They also said they love to watch him sleep because he is simply 'so beautiful.' I must agree=) Uncle D agreed with liking him best when he sleeps!

On Thursday and Friday I was away at state meetings. Very fun to reconnect with people I know from throughout the state.

On Sunday we took the kids' Christmas pictures. In true CAW form, he refused to smile. This is too bad since his smile is soooo cute!

On Sunday I headed to the Cities with my girlfriends to attend Sara's father's visitation. He had been battling lung cancer for the past ten months. We all feel so bad for her but hope it meant something that we were able to attend. We are certainly all thinking of her!

On Sunday night I returned to discover CAW has the rota-virus (same thing that wiped our entire family out in one day last February). He was healthy for about eight weeks which was awesome. He isn't feeling great now and Uncle D is home with him and I'm going to switch places with him soon.

We did sneak in some grocery shopping on Sunday post-pictures. CBW loved having her own cart.
