To-do lists!
Wow! Uncle D always tells me that if we actually stay put for a weekend we can get a lot accomplished. This time he was right.
One weekend in November he cleaned out the garage.
This past weekend he reorganized our storage room (many of you have commented that it was always organized but due to a few projects it had gotten a tad messy). He even packed away his brewing materials since he has not brewed in five years (his last brew was for CBW's baby shower). Hopefully he can get back into the hobby when our kids are older.
He wanted me to attach photos. While he was busy in the storage room I was watching the kids, doing laundry, finishing Christmas cards, etc. I'm not sure who had the better end of the deal.
This coming weekend he has hopes of completing his garage heater project (since April 2005). Wow! We may never leave again.
CBW has been saying some funny things lately. Last night at dinner CAW was being loud and disruptive. She mumbled something about not caring. I asked what she said and she looked right at CAW and said 'Really CAW, I don't care what you want.' I'm not even sure if I got the wording right but Uncle D and I laughed so hard. I couldn't hide it from CBW (I was just too tired) so then she started yelling 'Don't care....Don't care.' which wasn't nearly as precious.
Later at dinner she was telling us that another girl told her 'I'm better than you are.' This hurt her feelings so I was telling her that Daddy is better at some (not most!) things than mommy like changing the oil on the car. She said 'Mom, don't feel bad you are better at doing dishes and doing the laundry.' Thanks! I told her just because you do something doesn't make you better!
We have such a busy and fun month ahead!
This weekend Grandma Sal is coming to babysit so I can finish her Christmas shopping (a good deal for me).

Saturday-Murder Mystery party (Auntie Shelly is coming to babysit!)

Those tubs downstairs are amazing. I always think of them for inspiration, but I have yet to emulate them. It's a work in progress, though... Would Uncle D like to come work in our basement for a while? Or -- more fun, once Hammer Guy starts brewing again (in spring), you guys should make a trip this way!
