Updates....

So much to tell.

I'll start from the beginning.

Last Wednesday I won an award at work. It was a big deal (to me=). You can see me accepting the award from the Chancellor.

On Friday my folks took the day off (my Mom used her one personal day). They came to my town to see where I work (my Dad had not seen my office). We grabbed a quick lunch. Then they went to see Uncle D's new office and hung with him for awhile. Then they headed to CBW's school to surprise her and see her classroom. Then they brought her to CAW's preschool to pick him up and take them up north for the weekend!

You can imagine all I was going to accomplish. I tore CAW's room apart to paint, reorganize, and get rid of the crib. I was also going to catch up on laundry and spend a few hours doing homework.

Well when I called to check in at noon on Saturday I could tell something was up. CAW had woken up in the middle of the night with a very high temp. We jumped in the car and drove half-way to retrieve him. He was so hot but couldn't stop crying about leaving Grandma and Grandpa's house (and the tractors!).

Sunday was a bust since his temp reached 104.5 a few times and the medicine wasn't working that well.

Today Uncle D is home with him. The two other photos are of me talking to CBW this morning while we waited for the bus and a photo of her field trip at our local museum. No winter coats today. YAY!
