More water....More fun!

We are seriously squeezing every ounce out of the remainder of this summer. My job is nuts this week and then Uncle D welcomes back his students on Sunday and my class starts on Tuesday.

Last Wednesday two of my dear college girlfriends and their families came for an afternoon of fun at the water park. It was so fun to play together on a beautiful afternoon. I'm so bummed I didn't get a picture of Tommy (sorry Jana). We stayed until almost 7:30 p.m. The kids all seemed to be having a grand time. Uncle D stopped by so he could see all of C-girl's new water tricks. CAW became much more interested in the water this time....which kept things interesting.

On Friday Luka and Leila came for an overnight. The kids did so well together. We had planned on one last trip to the water park but the wind was cool on Saturday so we changed plans and hit the local farmer's market. We had a picnic and played at an area park. It was the most beautiful day here. We soaked in every second of it. The kids even walked the Labyrinth. However I'm not sure about their inner-peace we were hoping they would uncover.

Saturday night CAW and Cgirl had their first taste of sweet corn! It was a good night.

Yesterday we mostly just got ready for the coming days of craziness. Last night we headed to River Falls to have dinner with Uncle D's best friend and his family. It was great, as always, to see them all.
