Weekend update

Greetings.

First I must report that CAW has only been up two of the past ten nights! Yay. He lays right down at 9:00 and we don't hear a word from him until 8:00 ish. Both days this weekend our entire family slept until 8:30 a.m. Now that's what I'm talking about!!!!! Although I'm still dreading sleeping a night away from home with the wild-man I feel more confident now that he has turned the corner again.

On Saturday at 10:20 a.m. Uncle D told me he was going to go outside and finish the garage heater by NOON. This is the garage heater he has had since April 2005 and has taken at least six full days to install. Guess when we saw him....5:30 p.m. But it was done and he had a huge smile on his face. He asked that I take a picture of him in shorts drinking a beer in his new heated garage. Please don't worry all our earthy friends...it will only be run when he is doing work in the garage like changing oil, etc. I'll post a photo tomorrow.

On Saturday night we headed to an adult party. Auntie and her boyfriend, Gurkan, came to babysit. The kids went nuts. Gurkan did great with the kids and even chased CBW for hours on end. When they left Sunday CBW was clinging to Auntie's leg. We don't usually see this madness and when the door closed she looked at me and said 'Mom, am I acting crazy?' At least she knew it.

On Sunday we did a lot of relaxing and then hit Menards. We knew Grandma Linda would enjoy these photos.

Last night I finished my final. Two classes down, eight to go (for my Ed.S.) . Yikes. I hope I can make it but it feels good to know I have at least started. Now I get to focus on everything I need to cook and prepare for three Christmas celebrations and lots of holiday driving.
